  1. evil (something bad, cruel, vile, criminal; the corresponding quality)
    sagādāt (nodarīt) kādam lielu ļaunumuto cause, to do someone great evil
    iznīdēt ļaunumuto eradicate evil
    izravēt ļaunumu (ar visām saknēm)to uproot evil (with all roots) (i.e., to completely destroy it)
  2. harm, threat, something bad
