Probably borrowed from Old Church Slavonic ѥроусалимъ (jerusalimŭ) / иѥроусалимъ (ijerusalimŭ) from Ancient Greek Ἱερουσᾱλήμ (Hierousālḗm), from Hebrew יְרוּשָׁלַיִם (Yərūšālayim). Compare Russian Иерусали́м (Ijerusalím).
