Borrowed from Russian нача́ло (načálo), from Old Church Slavonic начѧло (načęlo), from Proto-Slavic *načędlo, from the Proto-Slavic verb *načęti. Analyzable as наче́на (načéna, to start, begin) +‎ -ло (-lo).
