[edit]From Arabic أولاءِ (ʔulāʔi), plural of ذَا (ḏā), apparently with ḏa- prefixed by analogy with the singular forms (thus *ḏaʾulāʾi > *ḏawla > dōla). Compare the same in several other dialects.
