Borrowed from Russian экзе́ма (ekzɛ́ma), from Ancient Greek ἔκζεμα (ékzema), from ἐκ (ek, out of, forth from) + ζέμα (zéma, that which is boiled, decoction), from ζέω (zéō, to boil, to seethe).
