- (informal, phonetics) the inability to pronounce the alveolar trill (or “rolled r”, /r/) correctly; the burr or, more generally, rhotacism
- Synonym: (formal) rotacismo
- So soltanto parlare con la erre moscia.
- All I can do is burring.
- I francesi hanno un'erre moscia molto marcata.
- The French speak with a very strong burr.
